Roadmap
Roadmap
ATAH is under active development. The live roadmap, current version, and full changelog are maintained in the repository. This page summarises the development model.
Development model
The protocol moves in published versions, with a stable amendment process. Until v1.0, breaking changes are possible and documented. After v1.0, semantic versioning applies: breaking changes only at major versions, with deprecation windows and version negotiation built into both the MCP and REST bindings.
Issues, proposals, and amendments are tracked in the GitHub repository. Anything affecting Charter commitments follows the supermajority amendment process described in the Charter.
Phases
- Now — v0.8.2 (rc)
First published version (release candidate)
Schemas, OpenAPI, MCP tool definitions, full specification, Charter, and conformance documentation published openly. Stress-test matrix as the verification artifact. Open for technical review, reference implementation work, and partner conversations.
- Next — v0.8.3
Editorial follow-ups and normative refinements
Editorial and consistency follow-ups identified during v0.8.2 final review. Normative computation algorithms for band-input signals. Engagement liveness mechanism. Withdrawal-cycle harassment monitoring. Anti-phishing format for verification challenges. The full v0.8.3 candidate list is in ROADMAP.md.
- Then — v0.9
Reference endpoint, conformance suite, first integrations
Reference MCP endpoint operational. Executable conformance test suite for the five conformance classes. Behavioural-neutrality and conformance-audit operational regime. First public partner integrations. Additional transport bindings (A2A-compatible, push, webhook). Federation between independent registries.
- Toward v1.0
Federation, third-party conformance, governance transition
Federation mechanics specified and operating. At least one third-party conforming implementation demonstrated. Governance transitioned to an independent structure per the Charter triggers. Major v0.9 candidates addressed or deliberately deferred with stated reasons.
